Orlando- An Artist's Playground

So today I have deleted my complete blog with the hopes of telling a whole new story. My intentions are (with this blog) to walk through an untapped market. I live in a city that is filled with it's Full Sail graduates trying to create a name for themselves as well as everyone else I know who is trying to create a stake in this ever changing media frenzy we as Americans have created for ourselves. Sunlit humidity and overcast lightning storms help serve as distinguishing elements, making Orlando an energy all it's own. Orlando is a swirl of ethnicity and culture and tucked away late night are our musicians, filmmakers, mc's, producers, dj's and who ever else that would consider themselves an artist.

In my circle alone, we would all consider ourselves artists because as cliche as it sounds, we are all creators. We are left to our talent everyday, with hopes that by the time our eyes are shut for good- more than one person would have known us and our talent. To be known for what we do is what defines our drive, not just our vision alone. Amongst Orlando's melting pot of artists, there are a sprinkling of truly talented, yet undiscovered people. This undiscovered market, these infamous gems are the ones I want to get to know. These are the stories I want to tell.
